Hello everyone! I decided to write this post because I felt the need to apologize with all the people that are sending me e-mails these days. Unfortunately, I don't have my computer so I can't read or reply to e-mails. I'm really very sorry since there are many people I owe replies to but these issues with my computer have been going on for a long while now.
My apologies especially to Katia and Lory because they sent me news about Randy and I wasn't able to access to their message until today. I'm so very sorry to be this late.
Randy was at the Blackout Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, to raise money and fight prejudice against gay people, after Barie Shortell was attacked. You can read about the attack
HERE. Unfortunately, this man doesn't even have health insurance.
This is what Randy said:
“Gay people have a pretty acute awareness of being harassed, of being attacked. So when it happens it’s pretty easy to relate to,”says Randy Harrison, a stage and screen actor known for his role in Showtime's "Queer as Folk" and an attendee at the fundraiser.
“I’ve had a number of friends attacked. And plenty of friends without health care.”
Until now, they raised $3,000 but you can still donate on
THIS website.
